Our First Aid trainers have experience spanning more than two decades in one of the busiest Mountain Rescue Teams in the UK providing pre-hospital emergency care in the fells and valleys of the Lake District National Park. The skills we teach on this very practical course are based on our own experience providing first aid and rescue in these remote and mountainous environments.
Whether you require first aid training to endorse a National Governing Body qualification or just want peace of mind that you can deal with a medical emergency anywhere from the kitchen to the Karakoram, Mountain Sense have a First Aid Training Course for you.
This 2 day, outdoor and mountain specific first aid course is recognised by all National Governing Bodies to endorse their instructor qualifications. This enjoyable course is very practical and we aim to spend plenty of time outside.
Our First Aid Trainers have vast experience rescuing injured walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and canoeists on a weekly basis - this experience will be passed on to you so the knowledge and skills you gain are relevant and realistic.
Not just for those who work in the outdoor industry, this course is ideal for anyone who ventures into wild and remote places. On successful completion you will receive a First Aid Certificate valid for three years.
